The Investment
When you choose me as your photographer, you are making an investment in the things that matter to you. Whether it’s documenting your wedding, milestones in your family’s history, enhancing your professional portfolio, or “just because”, Fox Grove Studios LLC is here to provide professional photos of significant moments and events in your and your family’s life.
If you're considering me as your photographer, I would love to meet with you to discuss the design of a session tailored perfectly to you.
The Experience
Your journey with me is simple, easy, and hopefully fun!
The first step is a phone consultation to discuss your session, determine the date of your session (which I will pencil in on my calendar), and to schedule a planning meeting. During the planning meeting, we will discuss style and details of your session. The creative session fee must be paid to secure the date of your session. This fee can be paid at the time of the planning meeting, or during the phone consultation. On the day of your session, we will have tons of fun photographing! After your session images are processed, we will schedule a viewing appointment. At the viewing appointment, I will reveal your image gallery to you, we will discuss any "portrait ready" retouching, and you can order the products you wish to purchase.
Creative Session Fee
The creative session fee includes your pre-session consultation, an in-person planning meeting, your photo session, your viewing appointment, and any additional meetings or consultations you may wish to have.
All products and images are sold separately, except for senior sessions. Senior sessions include 1 8x10 print (silver session) or 2 8x10 prints (platinum session). Additional products and images for senior sessions are sold separately.

Important Note:
The best time to photograph newborns is within the first 14 days after birth (between day 4-14), although we do photograph any newborns.
We suggest that, if possible, you schedule the newborn session before you deliver or within 24-48 hours after birth.

Scheduling
Call or email to schedule your session, as well as any pre-session planning. Newborn and wedding photographs are the most time-sensitive. For newborn photos, if you are having a Cesarean, we can schedule your session once you know the date of delivery. Otherwise, it is best to call either before delivery or within 24-48 hours after birth. The best time to photograph newborns is within the first 14 days. For weddings, it is best to schedule soon after setting the date (at least 6 months out, if possible) to ensure that we are available on your big day.

Ordering
Your viewing and ordering appointment can be scheduled as early as 3 days after your session. During the appointment, we will review images and discuss ordering and "Portrait Ready" retouching options. Photos will be ready as early as 1-3 weeks after your appointment, depending on the amount of retouching requested. A $200 order minimum is required.

Payments
Payments for sessions are due at the time of booking. Payments for orders are made in full during the ordering appointment. For sessions over $3500, partial deposits can be made at the time of booking, with the remainder of the payment paid in full at the time of the session. We accept cash and credit card (Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express) payments.

Sales Tax
Michigan sales tax is applied on all product sales.

Booking Fees and Cancellations
The total session fee is due at the time of booking to reserve your session date and time. This fee is non-refundable to cover the time of the photographer in the event that you choose to cancel. A cancellation fee is not applied to sessions that are rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Outfits for Newborn Sessions
We do provide a selection of wraps, hats, headbands, props, furs, and blankets as accessories for newborn sessions. These items are made for newborns and are non-allergenic. We can discuss the color and type of accessories, as well as backdrops, during your pre-session consultation.

Digital Files
All images are meant for individual/personal use. We do not include RAW or original image files. ALL digital images purchased come watermarked to protect the work of the photographer. You may purchase prints without watermarks as individual images.

On Location Sessions
For on-location sessions, we may charge an addition $20.00 travel fee for every 30 miles outside of Fox Grove Studios' location.

Images provided to clients are copies intended for any reasonable personal purposes, including, but not limited to, printing and web posting. Your license does not include use that results in financial gain, including, but not limited to, advertising, stock photography, print sale profits, or resale of any nature. Purchase of images releases Fox Grove Studios LLC from any liability due to loss or damage of the images, as well as release from any obligation to maintain copies of any digital file, image, or photograph. All images are the property of Fox Grove Studios LLC and are not to be copied, submitted to contests, manipulated, or edited in any way without the express written permission of Fox Grove Studios LLC. Fox Grove Studios LLC reserves the right to use and publish any images and photographs taken at your session to further promote its service, including, but not limited to, portfolio, web site, display, advertisement, social media, and editorial use. Fox Grove Studios LLC retains all copyrights to the images and derivative works thereof. By purchasing and/or using any of the images, you are agreeing to these terms.
